Dear Parents/Guardians:

We are very excited about our school!!  At the present, we have a Preschool (2-year-olds & 3-year-olds), Junior-Kindergarten (4-year-olds), and a Grade School (Kindergarten through Fifth grade).  Our classroom sizes are small, which allows for more individual one-on-one work.  We also have a very close relationship between our staff, our students, and our parents!  Check out the PTF Page!

Our teachers are qualified, friendly, loving, nurturing, and knowledgeable.  They provide an environment that is enriching and challenging for the student.  Webber Community Christian School (WCCS) staff works closely with their students and parents.

WCCS believes that quality education must be centered-in-Christ, founded on Biblical truths, guided by Godly teachers who nurture students to love God, respect authority, interact positively with peers, and must have valued and enjoyable learning.

WCCS does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, nationality, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational and admission policies.

PHILOSOPHY

WCCS is a ministry of Webber Memorial Baptist Church (WMBC).  Its philosophy is to ensure all children are provided with quality education and spiritual experiences that will enable them to adjust to our ever- changing world.

While the atmosphere and the objectives of the school will emphasize a Christian focus, Biblical values, cultural and moral ethics will be reflected in the overall learning environment.  Our teachers will serve to facilitate educational growth and developmental progress while practicing Christian standards.  The Philosophy of our school is to ensure that all children will be provided with a firm foundation for quality education and spiritual growth, in that they will:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the world in which they live.
  • Possess positive, healthy interpersonal relationships.
  • Respect the unique qualities of each person with whom they come in contact.
  • Desire to learn more about God’s love and the world in which they live.
  • Become expressive, contributing, responsible, community citizens.

PHILOSOPHY OF BELIEFS

The philosophy of our school is based on a set of beliefs about how young children learn, which includes the following:

  • All children are deserving of God’s love and in turn pass that love on to others.
  • Children should be respected for their own individuality and the contributions they can make.
  • Learning involves the total child and takes place on a continuum of time.
  • Children’s learning is a process, rather than a collection of facts,  which will be evaluated through multiple measures and used to enhance your child’s growth.

ORGANIZATION

WCCS is a ministry of WMBC, and the Principal is responsible to the Webber Community Christian School Board.  This School Board is then responsible to the church body.

The School Board is a standing Board of the Church, and the Church votes the members of the committee on for a two-year term.  The School Board will follow the guidelines established in the Church Administrative Manual.

The School Board serves as liaison between the church and the school.  The School Board is responsible for establishing all policies and regulations that govern the school.  It also serves in areas of staff related items and as a place for parents to take their concerns regarding the school and staff, if after talking to the Principal their concerns have not been satisfactorily resolve.
