PRESCHOOL WCCS offers a center-based program that integrates learning activities that build spiritual growth, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. We offer an exciting program that builds a strong foundation using various learning styles and the five senses to teach. Our program uses the Bob Jones and A Beka curriculum. We emphasize learning to love God, oneself, and each other. We are committed to guiding and facilitating your child’s growth and development during these important years. We carefully have chosen the curriculum, which is designed to foster independence and positive self-esteem. Your child(ren) will have hands-on experiences that will challenge thinking and creative experiences in Bible studies, Language development, Math concepts, Science, Social Studies (their community, family, people around the world, etc.), social and emotional development. These experiences will encourage them to participate in planned activities. Daily interaction with others will teach vital social and emotional skills that are needed to be successful and to do well in school. There will be field trips and guest speakers throughout the year to enrich your child first-hand. The teachers and the children will work within the frame set by the Administrative Staff and the School Board. The student/teacher ratio follows the guidelines set by licensing. Our classes are small, and have individual rooms, which encourage a close working relationship in the classroom. Our pre-school is an enrichment center for the children and their families. We believe that the staff and the families are partners in the developmental and educational process. We highly encourage parents to volunteer whenever possible. Our teachers are well trained, dedicated, and Biblically committed. Our task is to equip your child(ren) spiritually and academically. Our staff will provide a warm, nurturing, loving, and challenging environment in which your child can flourish. All classes are available and open to students of both sexes.
