What We Believe

What We Believe
  • God exists eternally in three aspects of the One, true God – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
  • God has created us in his image to have an active, personal relationship with Him. (John 1:12:13)
  • God reveals Himself to us in countless ways.  These include His Holy Word (the Bible), the glory of nature, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.               (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  • Man, through sin, has separated himself from God and nothing we do or have done will earn our salvation. (Ephesians 2:8-9
  • Because of His love for us, God sent his only Son, Jesus for our redemption and salvation. (John 3:16)
  • Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for all mankind, was buried but resurrected on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father. (MatthewMarkLukeJohn
  • God wants to give everyone salvation and an abundant life, but it is our choice to accept His grace and forgiveness. (2 Peter 3:9)
  • A believer’s baptism is an outward expression of a personal commitment to die to self and be born anew through the grace of God, as Jesus was buried but resurrected to new life. (Colossians 2:12)
  • As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to be good stewards and serve God with our life. (Romans 12:1-2)
  • We are called to share our faith and to pray for others outside of the faith. (Ephesians 6:19-20)
  • We are called to share our time and talents to serve and help others.             (Colossians 3:17)
  • We are called to share our resources since we are but stewards of what belongs to God in the first place. (2 Corinthians 8:7)
