Webber Event Updates

Due to the situation in our world right now with the Coronavirus, quarantines, and the requests for physical isolation, we have decided to postpone both the Easter Egg Hunt and Vacation Bible School until we have more information from our government officials.

Both events are a tremendous outreach to our community; therefore, we are not canceling them, just looking forward to a time that we can reschedule.

As Christians, we know we have to be leaders in following the requests of our officials and good examples as we strive to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Thank you for all your support and love for the children in our community!

Stay tuned for more information!

Webber Photos

Webber's ministry staff is having zoom meetings as we pray and plan together. Each of these folks are working their other jobs and also helping me lead our ministry. I noticed that we all look a little tired in this photo because we are! Our spirits are encouraged when we connect. I love this team and their input. PLEASE be praying for us together as we pray for you as well!

“Renewing Your Mind”

(Romans 12:1-2)  A Living Sacrifice

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

(Hosea 6:6)
“For I desire Mercy, and not sacrifice, and acknowledgement of God rather than burnt offerings.”

(Micah 6:8)

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Dolly Parton-(Instagram) She continued, "I think he's trying to hold us up to the light so we can see ourselves and see each other through the eyes of love, and I hope we learn that lesson. I think that when this passes we're all gonna be better people."

Dolly Parton"It's going to be alright. God loves us." said she's maintaining a "positive attitude" but is aware that many people see nothing rewarding about the pandemic. She's also aware of the fears people have around the world. "So just keep the faith, don't be too scared," she ended her brief message.

(1 Kings 18:16-19)  Elijah the prophetElijah on Mount Carmel Chapter 18

16 When he saw Elijah, he said to him, “Is that you, you troubler of Israel?”17 So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah. 18 Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”19 ’s commands and have followed the Baals. Lord“I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you and your father’s family have. You have abandoned the 20  is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”LordElijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? But the people said nothing.

Let Baal’s prophets choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. Then all the people said, “What you say is good.”

25 So they took the bull given them and prepared it.26 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.”

Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.

27 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.29 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 28 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.”

30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs[b]He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.”33  of seed. 34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again.

The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.35 “Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time.

1 Kings 19:1-18) “Get Up And Eat!”  Elijah Flees to Horeb

19 Now Ahab told Jezebel everything Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, “May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them.”

Elijah was afraid[c] and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.” He looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.

The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.” So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. There he went into a cave and spent the night.

And the word of the Lord came to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

10 He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.”11 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.

Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

14 He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.”15 The Lord said to him, “Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. 16 Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet. 17 Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu. 18 Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.”

5 Things I need From Others To Have A Healthy Spiritual Life
(Genesis 2:18)
18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
(Romans 12:5)
so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

(Colossians 2:6-7) Spiritual Fullness in Christ
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
(1 Corinthians 14:30-31)
30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.
(Ephesians 4:16)
16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
(1 Peter 4:9)

9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

(Ephesians 2:10)
10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
(Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
(Galatians 6:10)
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

(Philippians 2:3-4)
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
(Hebrews 13:1)
13 Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.
(Ecclesiastes 4:12)
12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
(Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

(1 Peter 3:8) Suffering for Doing Good

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.

(1 Corinthians 12:26)

26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

(Romans 12:5)

so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

(1 Thessalonians 5:11)

11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

(John 13:35)

35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

(2 Timothy 1:7)

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

(Philippians 1:27)  Life Worthy of the Gospel

27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit,[a] striving together as one for the faith of the gospel
